Join us for this participatory cultural event as we collectively remember and honor our loved ones.

Day of the Dead/Día de Muertos is the ancient Mesoamerican tradition of memorializing and honoring the dead. Influenced by Catholic and indigenous traditions of the region, the celebration welcomes home the souls of the departed through the creation of altars/ofrendas.

Join the National Public Housing Museum in building an altar and visiting the altars of our community partners. In this weekend-long exhibit and program we will explore the concept of HOME as it relates to this celebration.

FREE, drop-in.
