The closest CTA train stop is the Racine Blue Line, which is about a half mile from the Museum.
CTA bus stops #7 Harrison, #12 Roosevelt, #60 Blue Island/26th, and #157 Streeterville/Taylor are nearby.
Parking
There is a limited number of free parking spots in the Museum lot, which is shared with the residential side of the building. Our lot includes one EV charging station.
Metered street parking is available on Taylor Street.
Bike parking is available at the Museum.

General Admission Only
General admission to the museum is free and includes access to the REC Room (music exhibition), public art installations, Demand the Impossible Advocacy Space, Oral History Recording Studio, and much more. Reservations are highly recommended.
General Admission + Tour of Historic Apartments
Access to the Historic Apartment Wing is only available to visitors who purchase tickets to a tour. To ensure your spot, we recommend reserving your timed tickets in advance. A limited number of tickets may be available at the visitor services desk on the day of your visit. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to ensure a seamless experience.
