A Closer Look at the Importance of Fair Housing

Promo for Closer Look at the Importance of Fair Housing, presented by Cook County Commission on Human Rights
  • National Public Housing Museum, 919 S. Ada Street, Chicago, IL 60607

  • Free

Housing is fundamental to ensuring dignity and safety for everyone, and we all play a role in making that a reality. In recognition of International Human Rights Day, join the Cook County Commission on Human Rights to discuss how access to housing free from discrimination is essential to building strong, inclusive communities.

Attendees will learn about Cook County’s fair housing laws and key protections. We will also discuss best practices for compliance and how housing providers, community partners, and government agencies work together to create more welcoming neighborhoods.

A Closer Look at the Importance of Fair Housing, presented by Cook County Commission on Human Rights, will include a panel discussion and a floating resource fair featuring government housing agencies.

Come take a closer look and learn about how we can all advance fair housing across Cook County and beyond!

FREE. Small plate refreshments will be served. Space is limited—registration closes November 26, 2025.
