Join the National Public Housing Museum, in partnership with the Chicago Architecture Biennial, to celebrate the opening of BREAKTHROUGH: Housing Futures.

This exhibition looks back at the historical Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program “Operation Breakthrough” and presents experimental housing prototypes from the Housing Futures Initiative. It is organized by Alexander Eisenschmidt, a designer, writer, and Professor of architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Enjoy drinks, light bites, and conversation about the future of affordable urban living.
