    The Chicago Foundation for Women invites you to join two of the co-authors of The Uprising of Women in Philanthropy, Christine Grumm and Laura Risimini, in a fireside chat conversation with Mary Morten about the inspiring, never-before-told, story of the Global Women’s Funding Movement—considered the women’s movement’s greatest secret—and how it enabled women from all walks of life to harness the power of money to free themselves from oppression.

    Hosted by the six Giving Circles and Councils of Chicago Foundation for Women, this conversation is for those interested in focusing on the power of philanthropy and leveraging systemic social justice victories and gender equality gains.

    This event is free for current members of a Chicago Foundation for Women Giving Circle/Council. Non-members are welcome and asked to make a nominal donation to help cover event fees.
